Focusing on Bluetooth beacon technology, we construct a physical web using the Google Eddystone standard. Shifting our attention to the Internet Protocol, we develop a connected lighting network using smart lamps and a REST accessible 802.3 bridge with the Zigbee Light Link protocol. Each scenario teaches H2M and M2M communications, and includes a set of hardware loaned for the duration of the workshop. | Focusing on Bluetooth beacon technology, we construct a physical web using the Google Eddystone standard. Ein Vortrag von Michael Schloh von Bennewitz auf der GPN16.
We conclude by integrating our scenarios to combine Bluetooth and Internet connected device networks leveraging M2M and H2M communication. Our system exemplifies developing IoT systems, ready to install in modern residential and commercial environments.
To fully benefit from this workshop, a portable computer is required. A telephone or portable device with a stable Bluetooth 4.0 stack is optional for self paced physical web exploration.
