MicroPOC:SIP

We provide a SIP service to connect to the phone network of µPOC. You can call other SIP Devices, as well as DECT and external devices.

SIP Setup

Before setting up your SIP client, make sure you have registered your extension on micropoc.de. After you have successfully registered your extension, you will find your number and SIP passwort there.

We recommend the following clients:

Android: Linphone

IOS: Zoiper

See below for guides on how to setup the respective apps.

Generic SIP Client

Use the following settings in your client, if theres no specific guide available for your client:

Domain: sip.micropoc.de
Username: <Your-Name>
Password: <Your-SIP-Password> 
Verbindungstyp: UDP 
IPv6: Disabled

Android (Linphone)

You do NOT need to register with a linphone.org account. You do not need to register any additional account to use Linphone with µPOC.

Profile Configuration

1. Add new Profile, select "Use a third party SIP account"
2. Use the following settings:
   • Username: <Your Number>
   • Password: <Your SIP-Password>
   • Domain: sip.micropoc.de
   • Display name: <Your Name that will be displayed for others>
   • Transport: UDP
3. Open app settings and configure:
   1. Network > Allow IPv6: Disabled
   2. Advanced Settings > Keep app alice using Service: Enabled
4. Open the android settings for the linphone app and ensure that background activity is allowed (disable any energy saving options)

   • Accountname: <Choose freely>
   • Domain: sip.micropoc.de
   • Username: <Your Number>
   • Password: <Your SIP-Password>
   • Caller-ID: <Your Number>
   • Network Settings:
     • Enable IPv6: Disabled
