GPN23:Pixelflut

aus dem Wiki des Entropia e.V., CCC Karlsruhe

TL;DR: A loose collective around @greenstheorem:matrix.org, @subjekt91:matrix.org, @jonasled:jonasled.de and more are hosting Pixelflut at GPN23!

Watch out for the 5x Arista 7050TX-72Q switches in the hackcenter (red label, fiber splice box on top with red label, official NOC switches are stacked on top).

Simply connect to one of those switches, get an IP via DHCP (DHCP gives out a route to 6.0.0.0/8) and start flooding.

1G Canvas (Hackcenter only!): 6.1.0.8

Unmetered Canvas (Servers in Colo or Hackcenter): 6.1.0.6

For any questions, come to the Pixelflut desk (near infodesk, where the Pixelflut is projected against the wall) or call 5555.

Pixelflut Express

Pixelflut Express is a completely separated network, to protect the main network provided by the NOC from excessive traffic.

We welcome any kind of traffic in the Pixelflut Express network! Pixelflut traffic, filesharing, stretched storage cluster, etc... You can basically do whatever you want, our network can handle it.

Pixelflut Express has switches in the YoloColo (2x Mellanox SN3700 32x100G QSFP28) and in the Hackcenter (5x Arista 7050TX-72Q), connected with high-speed crosslinks.

The SN3700 YoloColo switches are placed in the center and marked accordingly. You can connect via 100G QSFP28

The Hackcenter Switches are 5x Arista 7050TX-72Q. They have ared label, fiber splice box on top with red label, official NOC switches are stacked on top.
